Following the 1920s campaign, in 2014 we decided to start a shorter one in the 1940s. I had been inspired by the narrative of Slenderman ARG vlogs like DarkHarvest00 and Tribetwelve, but wanted to expand the Mythos of the Deep Mosm and their own alien mythology. These games deals a lot with an inscrutable alien demon, a deranged human cult that worships it and secretive crocodile-folk. The Players are the unfortunate souls tossed into the mess.

Outer Gods, Inner Demons

1945: the closing end of the second World War, while hell begins it’s cool down across the sea, something unseen to the public eye is boiling up from darker places. Only a few are aware of it’s presence and the danger it holds, even fewer are pulled into action away from their own inner demons to deal with the machinations of outer gods.
