Session 9: Escape from Dartmoor
July 29th 1945. The investigators have struck a blow against the Disciples cult. The house observatory is burning from the aftermath of grenade detonation and with a strange chemical smoke roiling into the sky (surely no consequence will befall them in the future… surely) but upon fleeing the scene and several roadkill cultists later they arrive back in Dartmoor to switch out vehicles, only to find their original truck and bike missing. What have the inhabitants been up to? Will they leave their vehicles to rot somewhere in this backwoods town? (I think we know the answer to that.)

Session 8: The House of Carrigan
July 29th 1945. The wall known as Dartmoor is behind the investigators. The shadowed path to the hill where a darkened estate and observatory tower stand is what remains. Whether more followers and disciples linger is still up in the air, thick and eerily cold this summer day. What lies ahead is certainly the source of truth to the strange events that have been haunting Hogtown for months… but sometimes the truth is dreadful indeed.

Session 7: Shadow Over Dartmoor
July 28th, 1945. Recent information brings a team of investigators, rallied by odd activities in the heart of old “Hogtown” - Toronto, to the weed choked and isolated village of Dartmoor. Most folks living in Dalton township, all yokels or older families, have forgotten this little settlement. Occasionally, a car or truck will leave the dusty road out to it and return days or weeks later, passing the other farmsteads about. This team is venturing into this sleepy little place, unaware of just how terrible a secret it holds… but perhaps with just a sliver of the truth. It may not be enough...

Dat World!
We started playing/recording these in 2014-2015. The Objective for myself, was to run a D&D fantasy world that took side chatter and made it canon, anything went. If it was joked about it became lore for this world. Teuflemire and Dat World beyond is a place of pure imagination and morphs depending on the mood of the GM (both real and fictional) I treated it as a space that some players, perhaps in our Grumblehammer universe, were playing in and molding. This was an expansion on my Hedgespace/Courtlands ideas from the 1920s games in the weird west. This was also the inception of Gerald the Troll!

“Our Heroes, a young teenage witch and her bat familiar and an incredibly handsome arcane shop owner, have begun their adventures. A local legendary beast seems to be responsible for a missing supply caravan and the duo take it upon themselves to find him and see what can be recovered. Little do they know what may come of this or the legends they’ll make themselves…”

Dat World!

Session 6: Revelations of Sordoth
July 26th 1945. A recent home invasion has lead to an investigation of several deceased individuals and suspects who fled the scene. These men, crazed and hostile all appear to have been recent employees of the David Dunlop Observatory. While the police go to work trying sort out this mess, a group connected to the homeowner of the assault are trying to get to the bottom of an already confusing situation.

Session 5: Revenge from the Rexsurgency
July 24th, 1945. Officers have been called out to 33 Main Street, Markham for what seems to be a breaking and entering incident in broad daylight. the property is a recently purchased home of a former resident from the Birmingham fire incident some weeks ago. Neighbors and passer-bys reported seeing several cars pull into the drive and at least 7 suspicious characters going to the front and around the house. it wasn’t until shots were heard that the police took the reports seriously. The men have not left the home since the initial break-in and although not necessarily worth noting, aside from some unseasonal cold temperatures it is a sunny day. This appears to be a very strange break-in that may also be a hostage situation as the homeowner was last seen at home.
