Session 5: Revenge from the Rexsurgency
July 24th, 1945. Officers have been called out to 33 Main Street, Markham for what seems to be a breaking and entering incident in broad daylight. the property is a recently purchased home of a former resident from the Birmingham fire incident some weeks ago. Neighbors and passer-bys reported seeing several cars pull into the drive and at least 7 suspicious characters going to the front and around the house. it wasn’t until shots were heard that the police took the reports seriously. The men have not left the home since the initial break-in and although not necessarily worth noting, aside from some unseasonal cold temperatures it is a sunny day. This appears to be a very strange break-in that may also be a hostage situation as the homeowner was last seen at home.

The Adepts are deep in it now, they must reach a section of the secret Ares facility, evading bug spirits and whatever else lies beneath the dunes of the Muskoka Desert. All to uncover the secrets of a cycle long past and the source of the corruption north of the GTS.

Session 4: The Evans Avenue Arsen
May 28th, 1945. A fire has broken at 54 Evans Avenue in Etobicoke, multiple homes are in danger of the blaze. Max Charleston, the owner of the main home is a firefighter and was home at the time of the fire. He is now missing and his father and wife were last seen in the home as well. This is a potentially devastating inferno in the making, all local Firefighters are being called in to hold off this disaster. Amidst this situation, there are reports from obviously distressed witnesses that a darkened figure was seen running from the area?

Session 3: Interview with a Rexsurgent Cultist
May 18th, 1945. A deranged man has been caught, one George Talbot. He disguised himself as a Police Officer with two others and attempted to kidnap Everett O’Sullivan and he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for the veteran’s wartime skills and the suspicions of his new found friend Seth Cross! He was apprehended while murmuring gibberish and the duo decided to take the unconscious madman somewhere more private for questioning. As they fled the scene they began to feel the eyes of an unearthly presence upon them.

(GM/Editor Note): This one starts rather rough, as I (The GM) appeared to be very flustered and having brain farts throughout the initial hour of the character investigation. We had come back to this after a bit of time. That said we forged ahead and the rest of the game improved as a result. We hope you enjoy!
Session 2: The Fedimore Field Fires
May 15th, 1945: local fire department and police, including Cross and O’Sullivan, have been called out to Fedimore Field, an old unused farm/crop-dusting strip that was once used for the local farming communities. Something wrong and bloody has occurred here and as the two investigate further, they risk getting caught up in something deeper than what lies on the surface and further damaging the normality of their lives.

GrumbleHammer 1945: Outer Gods, Inner Demons
1945: the closing end of the second World War, while hell begins it’s cool down across the sea, something unseen to the public eye is boiling up from darker places. Only a few are aware of it’s presence and the danger it holds, even fewer are pulled into action away from their own inner demons to deal with the machinations of outer gods.
An alien god creature is awakened from it’s prison and with it, several forces have been given an opportunity. A cult lying in wait has sprung up to channel it’s dark energies for their own ends and gain. All the while being controlled by a dark, mysterious benefactor. Amidst the madness, two men have been pulled into the fray. Eyes are on them from both sides and now they must either figure out how to hide, fight, or die…
Session 1: The Birmingham Fire
May 7th, 1945. A fire has broken out on Birmingham street, affecting 3 homes. One of them is the home of Everett O’Sullivan, a war veteran who has returned home with a bummed leg and head full of nightmares. Fighting the the inferno is a young buck with a courageous heart named Seth Cross. They don’t know one another, but the circumstance that caused this incident will pull them into each others lives and force them to confront outer force beyond their control.
